CBN “Equal Justice” policy was not identified by then UPA Government in Telangana but he followed the policy in giving power to TDP nominees in local body elections. Party is trying to finalized names of Chairman and Vice-Chairman for Guntur Zilla Parishad. TDP has pressure from all communities for these posts. To overcome the pressure, TDP has planned to move in the middle way.
TDP district leaders had a meeting with all its ZPTC members and decided to share the Chair and Vice-Chair positions with two and half years equally. First term of Zilla Parishad Chairman will goes to Muslim Community and second term to BC Community. In case of Vice-Chairman, first term goes to Kapu Community and Second term to Kamma Community.
TDP thought to give two Co-options to Christian Community. One should for SC and other Co-option to ST. This is the first time one Muslim Women has selected for Chairmanship in Guntur District. Minister Pulla Rao has introduced would be Chairperson Shaik Johnnymoon. This time there is no Muslim Representation in AP Assembly. By announcing Muslin Candidature, TDP seeks to fill the gap.
