Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has written a letter regarding the Telangana government's stand on the fees reimbursement issue. He asked KCR to be in line with the President's order in the nativity issue lest the future of 9,50,000 students will be jeopardized. The letter was sent to Telangana government few days ago and there was no reply to it till date. One of the source in Telangana CM's peshi says "The letter was already thrown in to dustbin. KCR has decided to behave as if the neighbouring state Chief Minister does not exist and he has no business in the affairs of the state. Sir had already instructed his cabinet colleagues not to respond to any pleas of Chandra Babu and make him non existent for Telangana people". On the other side, expecting the action, Chandra Babu Naidu met Governor Narasimhan over this issue on Tuesday and urged him to interfere so that students do not have an year wasted. The supreme court had also questioned why Telangana government wants to postpone EAMCET counselling unilaterally with out consulting Andhra Pradesh as there will be a common entrance for the next 10 years. Telangana government just replied that it is not ready to go with the counselling from October 15th as instructed by the court previously. It is known that KCR is trying to bring in a new nativity rule for the fees reimbursement. According to it, Telangana government will only pay fees to those students whose families reside in Telangana from before 1956, the year when the United state came in to existence.
