One more political fight will happened in Chittoor district in the form of MLC elections. There are two MLC vacancies in the district from local bodies. YSRCP has no strength in local bodies to won the MLC from the district. In TDP, there are heavy competition exist for becoming MLC. Jayachandranaidu and Tippa Reddy MLC seats are vacant and elections are inevitable for these two MLCs.
Senior TDP leader Gali Muddukrishnamanaidu is in front row for MLC from the district. TDP President CBN also thought to have senior like Gali in Legislative Council. Next strong contestant is Senior Leader Dora Babu. Dora Babu is working for the party and lost the election in 2007 with just one vote. Galla Aruna Kumari, Kuthuhalamma, Lalit Kumari, Punganou TDP Nominee and other also in competition to get MLC.
In addition to them, TDP allay BJP also wants one MLC. Madanapalle BJP candidate Challepalli Narasimha Reddy also wants one MLC out of two in district. Challepalli was lost all elections since 2004 general elections. He is trying for MLC through Senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu. It’s difficult for CBN to console who fails to get MLC.
