IAS cadre division could troubles Telangana Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma. He was related to UP IAS cadre and appointed as Telangana via Andhra Pradesh. UP cadre Rajeev Sharma is on Non-local category. Central Government has decided to divide the cadre of IAS, IPS and IFS to both AP and Telangana states on basis of Roster Band.
AP Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao is assigned to AP only as per Roster system. Telangana Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma also allocated to AP state. There is disorder among Telangana IAS officers on this. Knowing this, Rajeev Sharma rushed towards Chief Minister KCR and discussed on this. Reportedly, KCR have assurance to Rajeev Sharma.
KCR raised the issue when both Chief Ministers met at Rajbhavan. KCR asked AP Chief Minister CBN “in any case Telangana CS and DGP assigned to AP, please give them back to Telangana”. CBN has agreed for KCR request immediately and ready to give NOC certificate to transfer Rajeev Sharma to Telanagana.
