If there are any two regions in Telangana State where TRS is yet to make major inroads, then it is Khammam and Hyderabad. But for the first time ever TRS is all set to be crowned with glory in Khammam in the next few days.
Of course, it is gaining this only as a ruling party by encouraging defections. After Vyra YSRCP MLA joining TRS followed by Congress Illendu MLA, now the stage is set for a mass migration of a large number of TDP cadre, MPTC’s, ZPTC’s and even ZP Chairman.
This is due to the possible migration of TDP strongman Tummala Nageshwar Rao into TRS. Although Naidu and Nama Nageshwar Rao are doing their best, the situation is turning tense and it is not clear which camp will gain victory.
However, if TRS succeeds well, then the party would have made a grand entry into Khammam, achieving its long-standing dream! The exit of Tummala will deal a great blow to the TDP so it has to be seen how Naidu and his team will change the situation.
