The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has been put to test by the party high command. AICC president Sonia Gandhi has served an ultimatum and told them to either perform or perish.
As per the congress party sources, Sonia gandhi has made it clear that neither she nor Rahul Gandhi would campaign during the by-election and it would be the responsibility of leaders like Ponnala, K Jana Reddy, Damodara Rajanarasimha, N Uttam Kumar Reddy and J Geeta Reddy among others to ensure that the party candidate Sunitha Laxma Reddy wins the Medak Loksabha polls. Sonia made it clear that if the party loses the bypoll, then the leaders should be ready to quit the posts. It shows that this us litmus test to all TPCC leaders from high command to proves themselves in medak loksabha bypolls.
On the other sides of flip, the BJP national president Amit Shah, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and TRS president Chandrasekhar Rao will campaigning for their parties.
