After a long wait of five months ban to the most popular channel Tv9 in Telangana has been really a country-wide chaos. The channel was banned on June 12th for airing a program which seems like insulting the feelings and sentiments of Telangana.
According to sources, Hathway Cable Network resumed Tv9 and the live channel is available on Channel No:36. The Multi Stystem Operators (MSOs) who were deeply hurt, knocked out the channel and so they gave reasons many times that Tv9 has telecasted programs which were hurting and so banned the channel.
However, knowing this issue Tv9 has publicly declared apologies if the program has something to hurt feelings of people of Telangana. But, still the service were not resumed by the MSOs and this became a difficult task for Tv9 to handle. The Telecom Disputes Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) also was not able to handle the issue.
Meanwhile, even when CM KCR was asked he was unwilling to talk about it and only told that the media and businesses in Telangana must respect the state feelings and sentiments. So, leaving all these, this is surely a happy news to Tv9 fans and it seems the channel is available only in Hyderabad as of now.
