When it comes to politics of Andhra Pradesh, there is a growing refrain that there is no scope for a third opinion, it is either TDP or YSRCP, Pro-TDP media or Sakshi media. Though BJP is picking up slowly it is going to take a while before it cements its position.
The TDP media accused the then CM YSR of destroying natural habitats in and around Hyderabad such as farms, lakes and hills in the name of outer ring road. They reportedly alleged that the project was started in 2004, only for the sake of real estate mafia, YSR and his followers condemned it harshly.
Circa 2014, today the same arguments are being put forth by Sakshi media against TDP, its allies and the party’s media backers saying they are doing a far greater destruction for the sake of Andhra Pradesh’s capital Vijayawada.
Neutral observes in Andhra Pradesh feel that when both are committing mistakes, then where is that third strong force that can attack and silence both of them and also teach both of them a lesson. Is BJP listening?
