Tension prevailed in Osmania University as students went on a protest march conducting a huge rally from OU campus to Tarnaka demanding Govt notification of jobs from Telangana Government. Students complained that TRS party which is ruling the state poured cold water on their dreams of getting new jobs after the formation of Telangana state.
Many students lamented that they were disappointed as Government did not issue notification and it went into silent mode without showing any concern to the student community. They alleged that Govt is passing time citing rules after promising to come with notification on Govt jobs.
OU students questioned what is the rationale in merging posts in Group 2 with Group 1? They demanded Govt to take immediate action on recruitments in jobs.
They demanded CM KCR to pay attention to the problems of the students. However tension increased as police intervened and stopped the rally taken out by the OU students.
