Days after the dismissing of Telangana deputy chief minister T Rajaiah, the CMO has gone silent on the sacking, while the annoyed leader asserted that the chief minister accepted privately that no corruption allegations against him could be confirmed.

His sudden dismissal was hurried and unconstitutional. Some people misguided the chief minister. He was not given an opportunity to narrate his side of the story, Rajaiah, the former health minister told TOI, after the chief minister's office went silent on an RTI enquiry asking causes for the TRS leader's dismissal from the cabinet.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao removed his deputy on January 26 following charges of corruption and failure to curb spread of swine flu.

Rajaiah continued that he had a 'clean track record' but yet couldn't find out why he was expelled in the first place, and even excluded out swine flu as an excuse for his dismissal. The state is yet struggling swine flu even after his removal, but unluckily it was quoted as one of the reasons for his dismissal, he said.
