Even before a year has proceeded since the division of Andhra Pradesh, the urge for separate statehood for Uttarandhra has began circulating on social media. A set of people coming from the region have designed a special ‘Uttarandhra State’ page on a familiar social networking with the aim of combining the people of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam to battle for separate state.

The online assembly, generated by five Vizagites, has previously gathered 636 members from all over the globe. The administrators involve Chandrasekhar Buddha, founder and CEO of New World Software Pvt Ltd. The other moderators are Bommasani Venkatesh, who now resides in Bangalore, Udaya Bhaskar M, Aditya Sameer Gudur from Italy and MSR Raju from North Carolina.

As per the forum administrators, lack of justice has been allotted out to the people of north coastal Andhra region as they have been disregarded by successive governments. “My friend MSR Raju is the main person behind the group.

We are administering the group with the motto of developing north coastal AP and members of the online community are responding positively to it,” said Chandrasekhar Buddha. Meanwhile, Uttarandhra Development Forum president Lagudu Govinda Rao too has joined the group.
