Telangana students aspiring for admissions in engineering,medical and agricultural streams may soon hear a delightful news from Telangana Government headed by TRS chief KCR.

According to the latest Telangana government is planning to scrap entrance test EAMCET which is conducted every year for admissions. Sources say Telangana government is considering this decision following many engineering seats remaining vacant.

Already Tamil Nadu has done away with entrance exams for professional courses to reduce pressure on students. Now Telangana may follow Tamil Nadu model for admissions considering inter marks.

Kadiyam Srihari, Minister for High er Education announced in assembly that final decision on scrapping EAMCET will be taken soon. In the meantime Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education is recognised by Union Government.
