With reports that Senior Telugu Desam legislator from Ibrahimpatnam,Manchireddy Kishen Reddy has announced joining the TRS, this defectioncomes just one day before the ruling party’s grand plenary in thecity. Kishen Reddy has now become fourth MLA for defecting to the TRSin the path of Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, Teegala Krishna Reddy and Challa Dharma Reddy.

Sources say that TRS efforts for luring two more TDP MLAs namely Kukutpally MLA Maadaram Krishna Rao and Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goudhasn’t succeed still even as TRS has passed this challenge beforeChandrababu Naidu’s programme at Mahabubnagar scheduled on April 23.

The MLA has reportedly been assured Rs 350 crore worth works includingthe revival of Ibrahimpatnam Pedda Cheruvu, a four-lane express roadto Nagarjunasagar as well as irrigation water from Palamuru liftscheme to this rural constituency.
