TDP and YSRCP concentrated on coming MLC elections in the state. EC has issued MLC notification for 4 vacancies elected through MLAs. TDP and YSRCP share three and one respectively as per their strengths in Assembly. EC can also fill other MLCs through local bodies soon. Parties won as per their strength in local bodies in the district. MPTC, ZPTC, ZP members and MLAs are considered as voters.
TDP in Prakasam district
YSRCP has 65 votes more than TDP in Prakasam district. YSRCP can win easily local bodies MLC in the district. But TDP is in different strategy to get the MLC. TDP plans to split among YSRCP votes for its victory. As per the buzz, it plans to field Karanam Balaram as its candidate to hit YSRCP chances in the district. Karanam has good relations to all parties in the district.
Jagan has a plan to field Balineni Srinivasa Reddy
Knowing TDP strategy in advance, Jagan has a plan to field Balineni Srinivasa Reddy as YSRCP nominee for local bodies. Jagan is confidently believed that Balineni can stop the split among YSRCP voters. As per buzz, Balineni is not interested to contest in this election. But Jagan has made compulsion on Balineni to counter TDP tactics in Prakasam. YSRCP cadre also not proposed any other name except Balineni in the district.
