The country is yet to recover from the shocking twist in Salman Khan's acquittal in 2002 Hit and Run Case and then there is one more case which prompts people to lose faith on our judiciary. Karnataka high court a short while ago over ruled the ruling of Special Court which convicted former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha in the disproportionate assets case.

The high court had also cancelled the ruling of the Special court which imposed 4 years of jail terms and 100 Crore penalty to Jayalalithaa which means she is completely acquitted in this case. AIADMK cadre across Tamil Nadu started celebrations as the news is out. This will be a big boost to the party and Jayalalithaa ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

Experts predict that Jayalalithaa may even consider going to polls early to cash in the high morale of the cadre and this favourable verdict. Jayalalithaa is also expected to reinstate herself as Tamil Nadu very soon. It may be reminded to our readers that she had to lose her MLA seat due to the conviction and she placed her loyalist O Paneer Selvam as the state Chief Minister during the crisis time.
