Telangana CM KCR took holy dip in river Godavari on the eve of the puskharalu starting from Tuesday. CM KCR left for holy city Dharmapuri in Karimnagar district. But this is turning out to be a huge controversy.

Some astrologers and spiritual leaders say KCR shouldn't do pushkar bath as his sister in law passed K.Subhadra passed away on Saturday. According to sources close to KCR, KCR has 9 sisters and a brother. His father is Raghavarao. KCR's parents adopted his brother's son Venkatrao as they had many daughers in the beginning. After adopting Venkatrao, they were blessed with two sons. Now Venkatrao's wife Subhadra passed away on Saturday in Medak.

Some astrologers and pandits say KCR taking bath with in three days of his sister in law's death is not good for him personally and also to Telangana state. Generally if close family members pass away, there will be 12 days to three months inauspicious moments (maila/chuttu).
Some astrologers differ with them saying Subhadra was not KCR's own sister in law and there is nothing wrong in KCR taking bath in pushkar as her final rites were completed prior to his taking bath. They say if what KCR did was wrong, he shouldn't go into the temple.
