Here's another issue from the Telangana Chief Minister KCR to name the DRDO at Hyderabad after the People's President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. KCR wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding this.
KCR reminded that Abdul Kalam ji served the DRDO at Hyderabad as a Director and during his time there were many crucial operations that took place. KCR further added Kalam ji's role in setting up research laboratories like DRDL, MIDHANI, RCI and ICMB. Reminding the close association with Hyderbad Kalam had, KCR urged the PM to name DRDO after Abdul Kalam ji.
He said " Naming DRDO after Abdul Kalam will give an inspiration to the future generations and will be a tribute to a such a great leader for his excellence in the field of defence."
So, is KCR making a covering plan as he did not attend APJ's final rites? What's this sudden thought all about?
