Dreams of Krishna delta farmers come to True. Reality becomes Fact within few hours. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu dedicated Pattiseema to the people of Andhra Pradesh on August 15th. Pattiseema is the first ever river linking project in south that connects Godavari and Krishna. CBN proposed this project to stop wastage of Godavari water into sea. 2006 TMC of Godavari water went into sea unnecessarily between June 2014 and May 2015.
Babu laid foundation stone to Pattiseema on March 29th, 2015 and vowed to give water through right canal of Polavaram by August 15th. Project was completed within 136 days which creates history in the state. Babu supervised the project on every 15 days that forced the MEIL contractors to finish the project. As per the irrigation officials, Godavari water entered into Krishna within 10 days. They expected on August 26th water enters into Krishna at Prakasam barrage in Vijayawada.
AP Government has
decided to do celebrations in huge at that time in Vijayawada. Pattiseema will
give political boost to TDP and Babu in the state. Clearing all hurdles like
gathering land from the farmers in Krishna and West Godavari districts and
completed the pattiseema within 5 months is not easy for any government. But
Babu made his mark with Pattiseema. Babu name is forever in the state, if he
completes Polavaram in same speed.
