Forcible land acquisition for capital construction in Andhra Pradesh is increasing tempers in the state. While CM Chandra Babu Naidu and ruling TDP government claims that land acquisition is not forcible and farmers are voluntarily parting with their fertile farms, opposition say Government is threatening people to leave their lands.
AP Minister had shock when villagers attacked
Jagan Mohan Reddy, Pawan Kalyan,Raghuveera Reddy all toured one or the other places to oppose land acquisition. However AP government is going ahead after some silence. According to the latest AP Minister Kollu Ravindra, Machilipatnam MP Konakalla Narayana had shock of their lives when villagers attacked them when they came to convince them to part away with their lands.
Minister Ravindra,MP Narayana along with survey officials went to Kona village, Bandar mandal to convince farmers to part with their lands.However villagers opposed Government decision to acquire their lands and give it for corporates to establish Bandar port.
When Minister and MP tried to convince them, they angrily questioned how they dared to enter their village. They asked them to leave the village at once. While PA Hari Babu tried to stop farmers, they attacked him. All of them returned back unable to face villagers anger.
