TDP leader Sateesh Reddy is different attitude among other TDP leaders in Kadapa. He knows that his opponent is strong candidate (YS Jagan) in the elections in Pulivendula Assembly segment. Sateesh Reddy is working hard from now onwards to counter Jagan in 2019 elections. Chandra Babu also encouraged him in the district. Though he lost the election thrice in row, Chandra Babu offered MLC and Deputy Chairman for Legislative Council to AP.
Sateesh Reddy is cleverly using this as opportunity to increase his vote bank in Pulivendula Assembly Segment. He urged Chief Minister Chandra Babu five months back on release of 5.5 tmc water to the farmers in Pulivendula to save the crops. Now, Sateesh Reddy vowed not to do shave his beard till Pulivendula received water for 50K acres. He leaves his long beard without shaving since 4 months. He said that Irrigation Officials would do their work of completion of Galeru Nagiri Project whenever they saw his long beard.
Sateesh Reddy said that Pulivendula never ever received more water in YSR era. But TDP proved after coming to the power and released 5.5 tmc water to Pulivendula. Chandra Babu is very much keen on completion of Kadapa irrigation projects. Sateesh Reddy is doing continuous review on irrigation projects and keep in touch regularly with Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma. We have to see when Sateesh Reddy would go for Shave?
