BJP is going with clear-cut political goal in Andhra Pradesh. Though TDP is ally for NDA, BJP is trying hard to strengthen the party in the state. As per buzz, BJP high command seeks to replace existing party President Kambhampati Hari Babu in the state. It is learnt that Somu Veeraaju has been selected as President of BJP in AP. Here is some interesting analysis on political situation in AP in coming years.
BJP High Command put aside Daggupati Purandreswari’s name for BJP President in AP because of having same community of Hari Babu. Somu Veeraaju is from Kapu Community from East Godavari district. He is the only leader in state BJP who lashed out TDP Government for later failures. It seems that BJP going ahead with two intentions. Firstly, it wants to strengthen its roots in the state. Second, BJP is seeking for Pawan’s blessings in next coming general elections.
Reportedly, Somu
Veeraaju has very good personal relations with Pavan Kalyan. There is a buzz
that Pavan’s intervene with Chief Minister CBN for MLC to Somu Verraaju. As per
some of the TDP leaders, Somu Veeraaju raised alliance of BJP with Pavan Kalyan’s
Jana Sena in 2019 general elections. Somu Veeraaju is dead against to TDP. If
he is selected as President of AP BJP, the relations between TDP and BJP would have
been in troublesome in next coming years.
