Lohri, Makar Sankranti and Pongal are the major Hindu Festivals. The festival is arriving tomorrow and as per the famous saying, the celebrations are incomplete without the right food. We bring you the foods which can be taken during this festival. During Lohri, you need to eat 'Til Gajak'.


It is just a candy and it will be mouth watering as it name sounds. This is done by roasting the sesame seeds. Murmure laddoo suits for all three festivals. No wonder these laddoos are sticky. The jaggery just keeps the taste flowing till it reaches our throat. Bajre Ki Khichdi is the right one to eat on Sankranti.


The right ingredients will make the taste stay in our tongue for hours. The perfect amount spent in cooker will give the exact taste. Usually 5 whistles in cooker will make this one get the desired taste.


'Poli' is another dish which is done my mixing sesame seeds in the dough and then frying the polis. This is a Maharashtrian special. The crispy golden brown polis are often a divine taste. Though they look like Chappati, the ingredients make them even better.
