Reportedly Star india batsman Cheteshwar Pujara heaped rich praise on virat kohli after the skipper became the 1st batsman from the country to hit a hundred in a pink ball Test. Meanwhile virat kohli had spoken at length about the challenges of facing the pink ball but he looked at ease against the bangladesh bowlers on Day 2 of the ongoing Day and night Test in Kolkata.
Reports added kohli made 136, hitting 18 boundaries in a stroke-filled innings that gave india a 41 run lead on Saturday. Furthermore the india captain played with a lot of discipline as he limited most of his shots to the 'V' area. When speaking to the press in kolkata, Pujara said "Kohli batted really well, and he is someone who has been scoring lots of runs in all formats. It's always good to see him score the runs. I am very sure he will be pleased with this pink-ball hundred." When speaking about the increase in instance of batsmen being hit on the helmet in the pink ball Test, Pujara said the light and the colour of the ball have played a role in the spike.
