Low scoring game…tough fight..emotions allaround.. this was what the Bengaluru’s Chinna swamy stadium witnessed . Chasing a score of 188 runs Australia started off their second innings. Ishanth Sharma striked very early for India. Opener Renshaw was caught behind by Saha in Lamboos bowling. In a span of 20 runs Warner was the person to depart in Ashwin’s bowling.

 After the openers were dismissed team India had dominated the game with the ball. Shaun Marsh was the next batsman to follow Warner. Umesh has struck him LBW. Captain Smith (28) took the responsibility of taking the scoreboard forward. This time it was once again Umesh who got the Aussie Captain in front of the wickets. Mitchell Marsh managed to score 13 runs before falling to Ashwin. Immediately Wade went for a duck in Ashwin’s bowling.


 After tea break Ashwin continued his magic spell taking Starc’s wicket  and then Keefe was struck by Ravindra Jadeja. Nathan Lyon was caught and bowled by Ashwin which concluded the Australian Innings at 110 runs, thus India recording a 75 run victory.


Earlier, India started its innings with the overnight score of 213/4. Pujara scored 92 runs . Later on Aussie bowler Hazle wood destroyed Indian batting. All the six wickets were lost for just 61 runs thus giving the visitors a 188 run lead. With this win India levels the series 1-1. The local boy  K.L. Rahul was named the man of the match for his brilliant knock with the bat.
