IPL Retention has happened and on a surprising note, Chennai Super Kings have preferred Ravindra Jadeja ahead of Ravichandran Ashwin. Considering Ashwin's poor form in the recent times, he has been sacked even from the ODI and T20I squad.


However, 'Thala' MS Dhoni returns to the squad and apart from him, Raina and Ravindra Jadeja are also in the squad. Royal Challengers Bangalore also retained Virat Kohli and he is the only player to be retained by an IPL franchise for a higher price than that was set by the IPL.
