Former Indian Cricket team captain, the Bengal tiger Saurav Ganguly recently said MS Dhoni coming at number 4 is very good for the ODI team. Recently the Indian cricket team won final ODI defeating Aussies by 7 wickets, and also the series 2-1. Dhoni had scored a composed 87(114)* in a match winning finishing knock, and for his three back to back 50s, he was also given the player of the series.

During an interview on India TV Ganguly said that it has been a long time since Dhoni played like this, and though people were critical of Dhoni's 91 balls 50 in the first match, it was that innings that helped him grow in confidence to play two match-winning knocks next.

Dhoni has proved himself at number 4 and hence Indian team must stick to him at that position, with Kohli at one down and Jadhav and Dinesh Karthik at no 5 and 6. Dhoni at number 4 would mean he can settle taking his time, and later start hitting freely, said Ganguly.
