Superstar rajinikanth had last appeared on screen in the karthik Subbaraj directorial revenge thriller petta and then he joined hands with AR murugadoss for darbar which ended as a flop. Now, he works on his next project which is bankrolled by sun Pictures. The movie is titled as 'Annaththe'.
Initially, the makers planned to release the movie as diwali but now they pushed the release to pongal 2021. In this case, yesteryear actress meena who is part of the project has spilled the beans regarding the movie.
Speaking to a leading tamil Weekly Magazine, meena said that the movie is a complete rural entertainer with Rajini-ism packed all over. The movie has lots of emotions and also it has commercial ingredients to be enjoyed by audience of all ages.
