In a survey done in major metros across 80 organizations reveals startling facts about increased sexual harassment at offices and workplaces over the years. Most of the surveyed women admitted that sexual harassment still exists in professional domain.
A survey carried out by pink Ladder, a career enhancement ecosystem for women has revealed astonishing facts of sexual harassment at workplaces. 56% of professional women have admitted that sexual harassment has increased over the years. 53% of women confessed that they were subjected to sexual comments, gestures, jokes at workplaces. The survey involved 200 working women across 40 organizations in major metros of the country.
Interestingly 80% of women knows about policies of companies towards sexual harassment at office premises. While 30% of women still hesitate to complain about sexual harassment complaints to the company’s concerned department. Although many of them also admitted to continue or not to in environments where sexual harassment cases were reported earlier.
Cases of sexual harassment cases has increased two fold in recent years in professional domain, most of prominent women professional has confessed it on #Metoo movement.
