Ingredients:

  • Vermicelli-2 cup (preferrably roasted,if not roast it in a pan with a little oil)
  • Onion-1 finely chopped
  • Carrot-1 chopped
  • Capsicum-1 chopped
  • Beans-5 chopped
  • Frozen peas-1/2 cup
  • Greenchilli-2 chopped finely
  • Turmeric powder-1 tsp
  • Chilli powder-1 tsp
  • Lemon juice-2 tsp
  • Salt-to taste
  • Coriander leaves for garnishing

    Seasoning:
  • Oil-2 tblspn
  • Ghee-1 tblspn
  • Mustard seeds-1 tsp
  • Urad dal-1 tsp
  • Cashew-5
  • Cumin seeds-1 tsp
  • Dry redchilli-1 tsp
  • Asafoetida-1 tsp
  • Curry leaves-1 spring
  • Ginger-1 tsp finely chopped
  • Garlic-1 tsp finely chopped


Method :

  • Heat 3 cups of water in a sauce pan and let it come to a rolling boil. 
  • In a kadai add oil+Ghee and heat it up,Then Add all the seasoning ingrediant in the given order,let them sizzle for 1 min.
  • Add onion and greenchilli and fry it till translucent,Now add in the turmeric and chilli powder.
  • Add all the veggies and fry it for 2 mins.
  • Add a splash of water and cover the pan and let it cook untill done.
  • Now add the vermicelli and pour in the boiling water.
  • Keep the heat to simmer and let it cook covered till the water is absorbed.
  • Add in the chopped coriander and turn off the heat and let it stand for 10 min covered.
  • While serving mix in the lemon juice and enjoy.
