Actor dhanush had announced a movie with director karthik Subbaraj before three years after the latter wrapped Iraivi but the project was postponed and dhanush and karthik Subbaraj were busy with other projects.
Now this project has been officially launched, and now is jointly bankrolled by Y Not Studios and reliance entertainment and this gangster thriller will be filmed completely in london and have music scored by santhosh Narayanan.
The latest update is that hollywood actor James Cosmo known for featuring in hollywood flicks like Braveheart, Narnia, Troy is a part of this movie which will also feature aishwarya Lekshmi and Joju George. The raw and realistic gangster drama Pudhupettai helmed by the critically acclaimed maker Selvaraghavan and starring dhanush, sneha and sonia agarwal had celebrated its 13th anniversary of release recently. The movie was a flop at the Box-Office, but it got unanimous praises. The actor revealed that he is willing to do such movies in future and now there are speculations that his current movie will be in a similar tone.
