Director karthik Subbaraj has been known for directing acclaimed and commercially successful movies like pizza, jigarthanda, Iraivi, Mercury and had last directed his dream movie by directing his matinee idol Superstar Rajnikanth in the mega multistarrer movie Petta.
Besides direction, karthik Subbaraj had turned a producer with his Stone Bench films way back in 2017 and went on to produce Meyaadha Maan and later is now producing two movies Penguin starring Keerthy suresh and another untitled movie starring aishwarya Rajesh.
Now karthik Subbaraj is all set to bankroll another movie which is said to be directed by karthik Subbaraj's associate ashok Veerappan and this movie will have his Meyadha Maan hero Vaibhav as the lead and Anagha who had debuted in Natpe Thunai as the female lead. The movie will also have malavika mohanan in a crucial role. Mallu beauty malavika Mohanan daughter of cinematographer KU Mohanan debuted opposite dulquer salmaan in Pattam Pole in malayalam and later in the international movie Beyond The Clouds by acclaimed Iranian maker majid majidi.
