Indo-US joint military training in Seattle from 13 Oct
In a boost to bilateral ties between india and united states a joint military training session will be conducted in city of Seattle from 13th of this month. The training session is held alternately in india and USA.
The 10th edition of joint military training session will be held at joint base Lewis-McCord (JBLM) in Seattle from 13th of October 2019, the joint operation is named “Vajra Prahar". The training session will end on October 28th 2019.
According to Indian embassy, a special 45 member forces team from Indian army will train alongside US special forces, last year the joint training session was held in pink city of Jaipur. This joint training session “Vajra Prahar" is held every year alternately in india and USA.
In a statement by Indian embassy, the joint training session helps in enable in sharing of best practices and experiences in joint mission planning and tactics. Earlier in September a joint military training session was held at Joint base Lewis-McCord in Seattle. These training sessions will also help in deepening bilateral defence cooperation between two countries.
