Telugu Desam Party was reduced to just 23 seats in the 175 seats Assembly of Andhra Pradesh, its worst-ever tally in the history. With age not in favor of Chandrababu Naidu and lokesh proving to be unfit to lead the party, there are doubts all over about the party's chances for a comeback.
At this juncture, BJP is looking to expand in the state and is keen on cashing the tragedy of the Cycle Party. We are told that the party is in talks with JC Family and Adinarayana Reddy to join. Both JC Diwakar Reddy and Adinarayana Reddy poked jagan to the maximum and now they fear retaliation by Reddy's Government.
They feel that only BJP due to its Power at the Center will be a safe haven for them. BJP is keen on starting this with Rayalaseema and go to Coastal Andhra Pradesh. BJP drew a blank in the recent Assembly and Parliament Elections. The party could not even manage the deposit in a single constituency across the state.
