Few hours post the announcement of the NEET results Tamil Nadu witnessed another shocking death as a student hailing from Tirupur committed suicide by hanging herself at her house as she could not get the sufficient score that would help her get a medical seat.
The student was Ritushree who was from Veliyankadu village located in Tirupur and the girl who had completed her schooling in the Jaivabai Government Higher Secondary school had got an impressive score of 490 out of 500 in her 12th standard examinations.
Despite that as she could not score the expected cut off in the NEET exam that is the entrance exam for entrance into medical studies, she took the unexpected decision and hanged herself in her room with a saree and though her parents rushed her to hospital, the hospital declared she was already dead.
