hyderabad sources made a statement that the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that there will be torrential rains in the northern Bay of Bengal on Sunday. When speaking in this regard, Senior Meteorological Officer raja Rao and said that heavy rains could be experienced in Telangana for five days starting from Sunday and the monsoon has started to cause widespread rains in the state.

Furthermore with the forecast predicting good amount of rains, the agriculture department hopes that the Kharif season will be more promising in the state. Reports added heavy rains have hit many parts of the state in the past 24 hours.



Moreover as per report it was stated that the Bejjur district of Komaram Bheem district received the highest rainfall of 10 centimeters. Sarangapur, Bajarhatnur received 7 cm, Dilwarpur, Wankidi, Khanapur - 6 cm whereas Kammarpally, Armoor, Nandipet, Bhupalapalli, Morthad, Bodh, Mandhani and Navipet - 5 cm.
