Protest broke out by TDP after a leader was arrested by police near his residence in Kurnool city. The leader was reportedly booked under SC ST atrocities act. Police arrested TDP leader D. Vishnuvardhan reddy near his residence in Kurnool city, TDP leaders retaliated with staging protest at Taluk police station alleging that YSRCP led government has wrongfully
arrested and detained Mr. Reddy.
Case pertaining to 2013, when Mr. Reddy allegedly drove out some people belonging to SC ST community in Eduru mandal of Kurnool, Mr. Reddy was arrested after victims filed a complaint now in 2019, many leaders from party like Bhuma akhila priya, Md. Farooq, Gowru charitha reddy and many others visited Kurnool district jail to meet Mr. Reddy.
While addressing the media outside jail, TDP leaders alleged that the arrest was politically motivated and vendetta of YSRCP government.
Naidu said that he was shocked to see the way arrest was made, he told that Mr. Reddy was not even allowed to enter his home, he termed the ruling government as ‘Factionist’.
TDP leaders and activists are dragged into false and fabricated cases by ruling party, said Bhumi akhila priya.
