Haryana assembly elections: Congress release list of 84 candidates

Congress released the list of candidates for Haryana assembly elections, 16 out 17 sitting MLA's were given ticket again. Renuka Bishnoi was only candidate left out of the sitting MLA’s list.

    Congress party released the list of 84 candidates for Haryana assembly elections, the party fielded 16 sitting MLA’s barring only one, Renuka Bishnoi from Hansi constituency. 

     Former chief minister and party spokesperson Randeep Surjewala will be contesting from Garhi sampla-kiloi and Khaital constituencies respectively.

     Former chief minister Bhajan Lal’s both sons, Kuldeep Bishnoi and former deputy chief minister Chander Mohan were awarded tickets, the former will contest from Adampur and latter from Panchkula constituency. Son and Daughter in law of former chief minister Bansi Lal, Ranveer Mahindra and kiran chaudhary were also given tickets. 

    Interestingly Congress state unit chief Kumari Selaja and former party state head ashok Tanwar names did not appeared in the list. Former minister Anand Singh Dangi is fielded from Meham seat. Elections will be held in the state on October 21 and results will be declared on October 24 subsequently. Currently BJP led government is ruling the state.
