As per report virat kohli will be back to lead india in the upcoming 2-Test series against bangladesh from november 14. Upon his return after having rested for the T20I series, the india skipper is on track to set a few milestones. Meanwhile despite not having started the year on a high in Tests, virat kohli scored a double hundred to hit peak form in India's 3-0 win over south africa in October.
Currently virat kohli is looking set to surpass former captain and bcci president sourav ganguly on the list of most runs for india in Test cricket and kohli is at the 7th spot with 7066 runs (82 matches) while Ganguly finished his glorious career with 7212 runs in 113 matches. Moreover notably, virat kohli had scored a double hundred at the Holkar Stadium which will host the 1st Test between india and bangladesh from Thursday. Apparently after beating bangladesh 2-1 in the recently concluded T20I series, india is set to take on bangladesh in the 1st Test in Indore. The two teams will then play their 1st ever day and night Test in kolkata from november 22.
